Maxi-Tankers attends Cotton Grower of the Year Field Day
The Australian cotton industry has been managing on-farm sustainability for decades, underpinned by investments in research and development, the industry's Best Management Practices program (myBMP), grower adoption of improved practices and innovation, and active participation in global sustainability programs.
Hosted by Merrilong Agricultural Company, in conjunction with Cotton Australia, the day attracted leading growers, agronomists, researchers, industry representatives, rural community members and local businesses. Today, Australian cotton growers produce more cotton on less land, with more efficient water use and with less impact on the environment than ever before. The industry's vision for Australia is to be a global leader in sustainable cotton production, which clearly aligns with Refuelling Solutions' long-term commitment of introducing biofuels - such as B5, B20, B100 and Renewable Diesel HVO - into the Australian market. In particular, refuelling Australia's Tier 1 contractors is playing a vital role in driving this transition.
Maxi-Tankers champions cleaner fuel adoption across our operations and industry supply chains to support both the agricultural sector and the projects delivered to support these regions. This commitment reflects a broader shift in how industry leaders are investing in the long-term sustainability of rural Australia.
The location at Spring Ridge, SW of Gunnedah, is in the heart of the NSW agricultural belt, where Maxi-Tankers have the capacity to service the agricultural supply needs of bulk fuel direct into tanks on farms and on sites. Scheduled to the individual operations of each farm, our reliability and delivery worries are removed as our professional drivers take care of your fuel requirements.
