National Biodiesel Day

National Biodiesel Day is celebrated in the United States each year on March 18 – the birthday of Rudolf Diesel, the German inventor of the compression-ignition engine.

Diesel developed his landmark engine in the 1890s, which debuted in 1900 at the World’s Fair in Paris where it ran on peanut oil. The incredibly robust, and efficient engine, revolutionized society, and 125 years later, his vision is more relevant than ever.

Rudolf Diesel’s innovation laid the groundwork for a cleaner, more sustainable future and as industries and fleets transition to low-carbon fuels, renewable diesel and approved biodiesel blends are proving we can decarbonise without compromise.

Refuelling Solutions has been working on the implementation of renewable fuels for over 15 years and is committed to the introduction of Low Carbon Liquid Fuels (LCLF) in reaching Net Zero. To find out how we can help visit our Future Fuels page or call 1300 755 395.
