Fueling community growth: Refuelling Solutions’ commitment to Australian sponsorships

RFS Communications Team • January 20, 2025

Since beginning operations in 1987, Refuelling Solutions has always valued sponsorships and supporting regional communities and organisations throughout Australia. Having travelled to every corner of the nation with our fuel delivery services, we’ve seen first-hand the critical needs of both urban and rural areas and know the impact of sponsoring clients and organisations in need.

In this news piece, we’ll examine why we emphasise this important facet of community support and showcase some of the groups and charity events we're currently involved with across Australia.

Why supporting Australia’s regional communities matters to us

At Refuelling Solutions, we believe in giving back to the communities that support us. Regional communities are the backbone of Australia and often face unique challenges that require direct support. By sponsoring local initiatives, we contribute to their long-term resilience, fostering environments where businesses and families can thrive. Our sponsorships are more than just donations; they’re investments in the health and future of these communities, reflecting our commitment to helping them grow and succeed.

The roles of our Business Development Executives (BDEs)

Our BDEs play a pivotal role in maintaining our range of sponsorship efforts. Out on the ground, they create strong relationships with customers and identify new sponsorship opportunities within rural communities and our existing client base. After securing a partnership, our BDEs continue to build a relationship through ongoing communication, ensuring our support is effectively meeting the needs of each area. This continuous engagement allows us to be more than just a service provider but a true community partner for the localities that need it most.

Our active sponsorships

Variety Bash

For the past 18 years, Refuelling Solutions has supported the Variety Bash, Australia’s longest-running and most iconic charity motoring event. The focus is on assisting kids who are sick, disadvantaged, or living with a disability and providing them with grants, scholarships, programs, and experiences that give them a fair go in life. For the 2024 Bash, Refuelling Solutions, once again, entered the Batmobile, a former bridal car from 1967, now a black and red eye-catching beautiful beast fitted with a red phone for the kids to dial directly into Gotham City.

The Variety Special’s Children's Christmas party

We’ve always been really passionate about assisting children throughout Australia, ensuring they have access to education, food, items, and whatever else that may assist or ease their situation. Because of that, we donate $10K to the Variety Special’s Children’s Christmas party each year. These hosted Christmas celebrations supported by flanks of volunteers are designed to support families and disadvantaged children across the nation, ensuring everyone can experience a festive atmosphere and enjoy the holiday spirit together.

Aussie Helpers

Aussie Helpers is committed to supporting Queensland’s farmers by addressing their mental health needs and providing essential supplies to sustain rural agricultural communities. For the past six years, we have proudly partnered with this vital organisation, contributing $10,000 annually to ensure that the backbone of Australia’s agricultural industry receives the assistance it needs to thrive during challenging times.
