Friday 20th September 2024 – The Australian fishing industry is taking a significant step towards a more sustainable future with the support of the Department of Primary Industries (DPI). Under the leadership of the DPI, commercial fishing vessels in Australia are conducting groundbreaking trials of renewable diesel (HVO100). This marks the first instance of such a trial in the country, demonstrating the industry's commitment to environmental stewardship and innovation.
