RFS’s growth in SA continues
With the delivery of a Kenworth B Triple Road Train
Forward planning paved the way for the delivery of a new Kenworth B Triple Road Train destined for the RFS Largs depot in SA. With earlier predictions of a bumper harvest, plans were put in place for a B Triple build so we could provide capacity fuel requirements for our depots and our customers. The triple also services our tanks in Ardrossan, Berri, and several service stations, where permitted, which are on specific gazetted routes.
The 74,000-litre payload offers many advantages, with large drops and fewer trips. Operator/drivers say that it ‘tows beautifully and looks great on the road’. They are very proud of how RFS continues to build trucks of quality and size that handle so well. In-cab technologies meet all delivery and safety compliances, are comfortable, and as Kenworth’s are known as the ‘Kings of the Road’, they are proud to have the opportunity to experience the thrill of jumping in-cab at the start of their shift to head down the highway. It’s a truckie’s dream!
